• 1. Why does The One offer planned itineraries and a package reservation system?

  We believe travel should feel personal, thoughtful, and restorative. The One Nanyuan offers guests planned vacations at a fixed-location venue, and limits daily admissions to 50 day visitors to the gardens, as well as 20 suites for overnight stays, to ensure that each guest enjoys a relaxing and exclusive experience. We use our package reservation system to tailor every detail to your requirements before you set off, allowing you to enjoy a thoroughly relaxing journey.

• 2. With 21 hectares of boundless greenery, why does The One Nanyuan not accept children below 7 years of age or pets?

  The One Nanyuan is a wall-less art gallery, and children and pets cannot be allowed to roam freely within the Retreat's buildings and environment due to safety concerns. In addition, we do not allow children below 7 years of age or pets in order to ensure that each guest has their own private space for relaxation.

• 3. Is The One Nanyuan open for visits to the gardens only, like other parks?

  The One Nanyuan is not open for visits to the gardens only. Our cultural host team creates planned itineraries for in-depth experiences, because we believe that travel is not simply about sightseeing, but about experiencing life more deeply. Whether it's a full day stroll through the gardens or a one or two-day overnight stay, we want our guests to be able to fully appreciate this stunning hillside garden.

• 4. Other than driving, how else can we reach The One Nanyuan?

  As a secluded yet connected mountain retreat, we encourage visitors to adopt low-carbon travel: your friends and you can take our designated shuttle bus from Hsinchu HSR Station. The shuttle will take you on a sustainable journey through breathtaking scenery; enjoy the stunning sunlight as you drive through forests of bamboo and verdant lanes before you reach your very own Shangri-La.
